      Seems I can never have a straight forward issue any more.  

      CL 5.7P2 on AIX.

      VRL input, pipe delimited file. Standard HL/7 output.  

      When I run one record through I get a core dump.  Any thoughts as to what might be causing this?

          Well, that was odd.  Discovered that doing a pathcopy of @null to, say the PID segments to clear everything out was the cause of the error.  

          Removed the pathcopy and all is well.
