We are looking into using Cloverleaf’s master site configuration. We currently use a “master site” in a sense, but would like to change over. We have two sites: site1 and site2 (names have been changed to protect the innocent). We have all of our Xlate, tclprocs, tables, and formats under site1 and the Xlate, tclprocs, tables, and formats directories are symbolic links that point to the associated directories under site1. I see us having two ways of going about this:
1. Make site1 the master site allowing us to change the symbolic links to empty directories in site2.
2. Create a new site (call it global), move all the Xlate, tclprocs, tables, and formats from site1 to there and have empty directrories under site1.
Which would be better for us?
We are currently on CL v 5.8.5 under AIX 6.1 . We plan on upgrading to v 6.1.1 soon, but thought we’d do the master site bit first.
