Looking for hci commands

Is there a place where I can find out where all the hci commands are with their perspective arguments? (A small narrative would be nice as well).

      For example: hcidbdump -r

What does -r do and what are other arguments?

      Thanks in advance,

      Carl Tosi

The options for hcidbdump are in the manual under “Help >> Testing and Maintenance >> Database Administrator >> Database Administrator Command-Line Options”.

In general you can just search the manual for the command name to find documentation.

If you want to see what commands are available you could type “ls” in the following folders:

          $HCIROOT/bin

          $HCIROOT/contrib

          $HCIROOT/sbin

          $HCIROOT/clgui/bin

          $HCIROOT/clgui/bin/unsupported

There’s another page in the manual under “Help >> Command Line Quick Reference” that lists the common commands.

              David,

I don’t see manual listed under help.

When I click on ‘Help’ on the tool bar, I get:

                             Contents

                             Help topics

                             Release notes

                             Site Document

                             Support

              Thanks,

              Carl

Click on “Help/Contents” in the GUI. On my PC this launches a Web browser with the manual. In the left hand column (the table of contents), click on “command line quick reference” (third from the bottom).

                  David,

This is what I get when I click on Help/Contents, (see attached). Notice that the contents icon is grayed out.

If you can’t do a search on that web page or view the contents then there’s a problem with the installation of the documentation. Maybe you should try reinstalling, and if it still doesn’t work then open a ticket with Infor.

There could also be a problem with the browser security settings that prevent the documentation from being displayed.

We have had issues viewing the tabs in the help file since we went to internet explorer 10.

Go to the C:cloverleafcis6.0integratordocs and open up the cloverleaf.htm and modify line 1 to look like line 2 and save the document and everything will work as it should.

                        1.

                        2.

Hope this fixes your issue it did for us.

                          Glenn,

The second line was not in the file so I added it, (see below). Does this look like the beginning of your file?

Cool! Fixed it for me as well.
