I curious what you all do to clean-up these directories. Do you clean them manually or through a script? Do you keep these files for so long and then delete them or back-up them up?
Good question! I only have a look at these directories when the filesystem is getting too full. I will then delete all ‘old’ files in the revision directories. Have never looked at the lock directory though. Ah: I see some very old files in there too…
It wouldn’t be very difficult to cleanup these directories automatically by regularly deleting all files with a certain age. I know this won’t be a problem with the revisions directories; don’t know about the lock directory though.
I too wonder what others do…

Which raises another question: how often do you upgrade Cloverleaf?
I checked on our production site: we have over 600 files in the lock directory and almost 500 in the revisions. On our development site we have 500 lock files and over 3000 revision files… May have to clean this up a bit.
