      Hey Guys and Gals,

We are converting from Unix to Linux and making a quantum leap in Cloverleaf releases. I had a FTP script in Unix that worked perfectly. The script doesn’t run in Linux. I get a ton of errors and know nothing about Linux. I am also trying to use the ‘setsite’  / stop and start commands which USED to work too.

Post a list of your errors and we can help.

            Here’s the script:

            -bash-2.05b$ more CERNER_USAGE_PROCESS_TEST

            #********************************

            # CERNER_USAGE_PROCESS_TEST

Well, I figured out that for some reason Linux does not like the blank lines and I had to comment them out. This took care of some of the errors.  I also commented out everything except the cd /cloverleaf/qdx5.4.1/integrator  and it’s telling me that the file doesn’t exist?

Look at the file with “less -u” to see if you have invisible carriage returns at the end of your lines.

Add a line to the top of the script to explicitly state which shell interpreter you are using (like #!/bin/bash).
