Limiting the number of processes per site

We recently installed version 5.3.

The technician that installed it told us that there was a limit of 18 or 19 processes per site.  Once more processes are added over that limit, I was told that we might see performance issues.

I want to consolidate threads under main process and delete the others.

Is there a procedure for deleting processes? Do I just make changes to configuration, then manually delete the process directories?

I too am interested in this topic.  The procedure I used without issue in our test evironment was to change the process name in netconfig too the more consolidated version and then move all old process directories in the file structure to a temp backup folder.  I haven’t had issues thus far.

Yes.  You simply make the change in NetConfig, then manually delete the defunct process directories under $HCISITEDIR/exec/processes.
