Large Files in CSC v4, v5 and v6

Hi all

We are trying to test large files (117 MB, 271 MB) from the CSC Client to the CSC Server. The client reads the files which hit the .work directory on the client and then they remain. The process log shows the file as being read but it does not provide the usual warning about large file sizes so I assume at this point something is broken.

When we try a much smaller file for example 17MB the file is read, chuncked and transmitted the the CSC server.

The large files remain in the .work directory and do not move. We have tried stopping the CSC client, copy the file to in then starting same results each time.

I see no new patches or anything that sounds familar in the inforextreme knowledgebase but cannot believe I am the only one to see this issue.

Thus far we have tried and failed with v4.4 and v.5 and v5.0.1…next step is v6 but we have to upgrade our CIS first from 5.8.5 which is much more time consuming.

I don’t have CSC and haven’t used it, but I would not be surprised if CSC has a configuration safe guard for max file size to protect itself.

Something to check and if there is a max file safe guard setting let us all know.
