JAVA/WS-Server through testing tool route testing

All,
I have an inbound thread that is set to protocol java/ws-server and all works fine. Trying to do some testing though through the testing tool to run everything through route testing. While doing this the message is unable to route because the trx_id is set to the inbound path, but through the testing tool this is not done. Is there a way in the testing tool to set this value without setting it via a tcl procedure?
