Hi,

We don’t use Java in-house but as a reseller in the UK some of our clients do – we recommend Tcl and do not support Java but out of interest I have written some Jave upoc’s for TPS, TrxId and JDBC.

Hi,

we have done some Java for connecting to the SAP HIS system IS-H here in Germany. They have a standarizied Interface called BAPI which is a function call library. SAP is providing a package with Java classes one can use to call these functions. There is no way to do this from tcl.

That’s the only reason to to this in Java. All other things can be done faster and easier in Tcl.
