Java error when starting Cloverleaf GUI v5.7

Getting “Error, can’t create java VM” and GUI will not open. I had altered Options, Client Options, Advanced – JVM Arguments to -Xms256m. Then got the error. Was trying to address inability to load large smat files.

Is there a way to resolve without reinstalling Java?

Max,

The JVM argument is -Xmx256m  

I’m assuming it was just a typo in your post.  I would open a ticket with Support for assistance.

I did have a typo in my original post. The JVM argument is -Xmx512m.

I resolved the problem by:

1. clearing the jvm_args= line in the client file in the c:quovadxqdx5.7integratorclient directory on my pc.

2. Re-installing Java on my PC.

I think I ran into this when I tried to increase my JVM argument too much.  Did you try it with the -Xmx256m before jumping to the -Xmx512m?
