Java Driver Protocol – web page?

Can a java servlet, i.e. code that displays a web page in a browser, be run inside the Java Driver Protocol?

The idea is to combine a web app with a Cloverleaf protocol, such that the result of user action on a web page will result in a message being generated and sent on to the Inbound tps and continuing to translation and beyond.

I expect that if it is possible, it needs to be in its own process to avoid user entry latency holding up everything else.

Is it ok to use classes like JSTL to allow dynamic building of web page elements from database elements?
