I searched all the posts that referenced the tcp_acknak pdl file (and many posts that referenced multi-server threads) and was wondering if anyone has any experience creating multiple outbound threads in one process to a single inbound multi-server thread in another process.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Let me put the question differently:

At the message level, the multi-server thread creates an ack to the sending system and sets the outbound port for the ack through the use of the DriverCtl setting and the tcl snippet

          Code:

msgmetaset $mhReply DRIVERCTL [msgmetaget $mh DRIVERCTL]

How would I update tcp-acknak.pdl to return a protocol-level ack to the correct port number?  Or is the port number retained at the protocol level so that the PDL does not need to deal with it?

            Jon –

Did you ever figure out the answer to this one?  I’m looking at a similar issue and want to know what to expect before launching into it.

            Thanks!
