inserting hl7 control characters

      What is the easiest way in tcl to insert the hl7 control characters into a flat file that contains hl7 messages? So the 0xbMSH…….0x1c0xd.

          There is no easy way to insert the encapsualtion characters from the message sinc ethey are stripped off by the driver.  If you are sure it is MLP you can copy them to your FRL using constants.  If you mean the HL& separators simply copy MSH.#1 and MSH.#2 to the outbound
