If I want to do the same translation on MDM_T02, MDM_T04 and MDM_T06, do I have to create 3 separate Translation files or can I have a single xlt file that will handle all the types? If so, how do I do that when I Choose the File Format?

      Thanks in Advance!

          Marcus,

So long as the three message types mentioned are defined similarly in your HL7 variant, then you should be able to use just one xlate.  When you go to configure your xlate, just use the most common message type you expect to get as your basis…probably a MDM^T02.

Great! Thanks for the advice. This will make things a lot neater for me.
