Increase file size in the thread

I am trying to increase the file size transmission from one of my thread but I am not successful yet. The result message I am trying to send out has embedded pdf with variant build on it. I increased the size of the field in the variant where this embedded pdf comes in. Still I am not being able to send the message out with the file which has 90000 byte and above. Please help

Binod,

You can change the field length in the variant to ‘unlimited’ by directly editing the field definition from the command line (not via the GUI).  Change the field length to -1  

In version 5.8 and above, you can specify ‘unlimited’ in the GUI, but prior to 5.8, you have to do it by editing the definition behind the scenes.  Just bear in mind that if someone editls the field in the GUI again, it will lose the -1 setting.
