      Hello All,

         R/S6000, AIX5.2

         Quovadx Platform V v 5.3P_rev2

This is my first attempt at sending XLM via http-client protocol. Our normal standard is HL7 using a VPN, for vendors outside our network. When I start the thread it goes to error and the message below is in the process log. Does this error mean we need to purchase an additional license from Quovadx to make this work, or have I set something up wrong?

I setup the netconfig as follows –

      Protocol – PROTOCOL:http-client

      properties –

       URL -vendor supplied URL

       Method – POST

       HEADER – BLANK

      https CHECKED

      configure

      MODE -none

Non-Secure mode. All security disabled. (I selected this option for initial testing purposes)

          Hello Thomas,

Yes, you need to buy a license if you want to use the built in https connector.

            Thomas,

Did you ever get this to work?? Just curious.

            Thanks,

              Greetings,

We have been running https on both CIS5.4.1 Rev2 and CIS5.6 Rev2

on AIX5.2 build 8 and now on AIX5.3 TL8 SP3 (lots of alphabet soup here).

              (Retired the 5.4.1 version).

We needed to develop a TclCurl custom UPOC driver to perform the connectivity and SSL tasks for us to a payor.  And yes you do need an SSL license which is extra (you buy it – check with your CRM on price).

I did play with using the Cloverleaf supplied procs (httpQuery) and they work with CIS5.6 Rev2 just fine; however, you have more control over error handling using the TclCurl.  And again to do SSL you need the license here too!

I did a presentation back in 2007 at the Annual Users Conference.

Perhaps Healthvision could send you a copy?  Otherwise I do have a copy

but would like their permission before sending it to anyone.

              Let me know.

              Good luck, good hunting!
