HRL Layout

I am converting the HL7 -> HRL . I have a HRL file with each segment referring to another HRL or FRL segment. The xlate is working fine, but my outbound spec requires me to put in carriage return/ line feed after each segment in the HRL layout . I have a filler field at the end of each segment. Is there a easy way to give this as a last character for each segment in the xlate ?
