How to redirect process log and SMAT files on AIX server?

Hi David,

Were you able to change the default directory where Cloverleaf writes it’s SMAT files?  I have not heard of anyone else doing this.  The only way I think it could be done is to create symbolic links to the desired volume group and replace the process directories with those links.

However, this method could get quite messy as you’d have to create new links every time you added a process.

I have not got this setup just yet.  As you mentioned, I have read posts where symbolic links were used and believe that is going to be a big part of the modification.  I’ll post back to this thread once we get something tested and make some progress on this.
