I wish to create a new site using the gui on Version 19.1.2.1P.  I am unable to find any documentation to do this.

Creating a site is nt directly possible from the GUI. Either use the command line command or go into your Start menu – for the Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite and one of the options there is “Site Init”.

We do not have the Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite so we will have to use the command line.

I take it this is the command is hcisiteinit?

Just curious.  How do you have Cloverleaf but not the Integration Suite?  I thought when you installed Cloverleaf the Suite is also installed.

Sorry for the delay on replying

They installed Cloverleaf on our linux box and gave us a link to the gui for our pcs.

Nothing was installed on our pcs.

Used the command hcisiteinit greg to create new site.

The new site does not show up on the GUI.

What do I need to do to get it to show up?

If site is created in command line and not gui, you will need to also add the site the site list in their server admin tool.

Using mobaxterm execute the command hciserveradmin from the command line. It will launch the server admin tool via  x-window app

I have that window open what do I do now?

The new site is listed under General, Environments, Site

      /opt/cloverleaf/cis19.1/integrator/greg

You may need to bounce the host server for the change to take effect

      stop

      hciss -k h

      start

      hciss -s h

Bouncing the host server did not change anything.

Also how can I delete old sites?

Had to use the hciserveradmin  tool

      Run

      AclRole Mgr GUI

      ACLs

Expand whichever server you are using

Select and right click on integrator19 or whatever version

      Click on add site.

Having never used the serveradmin tool before I found out that there is a SiteInit GUI option.

Thank you for all of those who answered.

Good deal Gene – i thought you had already performed that step, although I wasn’t sure of the specifics other than adding the site somewhere in the serveradmin tool.

Probably easier to just use the siteinit tool for site additions via server admit tool movingn forward since it will perform all those functions for you and update the server.ini file

That’s probably what i will do – although there are other considerations to site additions in clustered environments
