  Do you have your SMAT turned on for inbound messages on this outbound thread? My guess is that after the ACK comes back, there’s another message coming through. It may be the ACK sent a second time. It treats it as a data message since the reply already came back.

  If the ‘Outbound only’ is checked (on the Inbound tab of the outbound thread), then the 2nd ACK coming in should get ignored.
