HL7 2.6 DG1 Segment

My version of Cloverleaf is putting out the following in the config tool for the DG1 segment:

00375 SI 4 Set ID – DG1

00377 CWE 250 Diagnosis Code – DG1

00379 DTM 24 Diagnosis Date/Time

00380 IS 2 Diagnosis Type

00381 CNE 1 Major Diagnostic Category

00382 CNE 250 Diagnostic Related Group

00383 ID 1 DRG Approval Indicator

00384 IS 2 DRG Grouper Review Code

00385 CWE 250 Outlier Type

00386 NM 3 Outlier Days

00387 CP 12 Outlier Cost

00389 ID 2 Diagnosis Priority

00390 XCN 250 Diagnosing Clinician

00766 IS 3 Diagnosis Classification

00767 ID 1 Confidential Indicator

00768 DTM 24 Attestation Date/Time

01850 EI 427 Diagnosis Identifier

01894 ID 1 Diagnosis Action Code

02152 EI 427 Parent Diagnosis

02153 CWE 705 DRG CCL Value Code

02154 ID 20 DRG Grouping Usage

02155 IS 20 DRG Diagnosis Determination Status

02288 IS 1 Present On Admission (POA) Indicator

This looks awfully different from previous HL7 versions.

I can’t find our copy of the official HL7 2.6 specs.

Does anyone know if HL7 has changed the order/content of the segment or is the Cloverleaf 2.6 default built wrong?

A friend just sent me the lay out.

It appears HL7 2.6 on Cloverleaf 5.7 Rev 2 is wrong.

I’ll open a support ticket.

This issue has been reported and the below was returned from R&D:

Attached is the work-around for this case which includes Windows and UNIX versions.

The work-around adds the following fields based on 5.8.3 formats:

DG1: 00376 ,00378, 00388(00381-00387 exist in 5.8.3)

FT1: 00362,00363

IN1: 00463,00465,00466

MSA:00022

PR1: 00392,00394,00398,00401,00402

UB1:00531

To use the work-around:

1. Back up

Back up all the files in the attached file list

2. Upgrade root level format

Copy attached dir
