HL/7 v2.x XML schemas

I have downloaded some XML schemas which define a few of the HL7 v2.x set.

However, they reference common schemas (like segments.xsd for the segment layouts) and I have not been able to locate those.

I want to load each into a XML editor so I can understand the layots and evaluate if the schemas are worthwhile.

Does anyone know where I can get a current and valid copy of those common schemas (like segment.xsd)?

You can download a zip file that contains the v2 HL7 schemas (including segments.xsd) from the following link:

or some sample schemas from here too:
