Help with PDQ to Mckesson Passport.

I need some help from anyone that is currently running a PDQ interface to Passport.  

I am on AIX  CLV5.8.5 – upgrading to 6.1 soon.

I have been able to create an interface currently but during testing they are saying that the delay is to great, it needs to be faster.  The thing I am running into is that when I send a query to passport and get a response (reply message), passport needs to disconnect and reconnect.  I have my outbound thread to passport setup with the “close after write” checked and the “Auto-reconnect” checked with a reopen time of “2”.  Since I have to reconnect it takes 10 seconds from getting the query from the PM system to sending the reply back to the PM system.

Is there a differnt way to set this up?

I have seen some posts that talk about using Multi-server threads.  I have never used them so I don’t know how to configure them properly, or even if it would help me in any way.  Mckesson sent me info from one of their customers that is also using Cloverleaf to do this, but their setup was without the “close after write” checked and was not multi-server.  When I tried to setup my thread like theirs, I got one query through and then all others after that disapeared because passport did not get disconnected and reset.

I am hoping there are others out there that have already messed with this issue.
