I’ve been fighting this issue unsuccessfully long enough and hoping someone here has experienced the same issue and can provide some guidance. When logging into the server as a domain user that is in the administrators group yet I cannot control certain aspects of Cloverleaf without right-clicking the IDE 6.1 icon and choosing Run As Administrator (I.E.: Cannot launch the Shell Window, cannot save Alerts). If I login to the server using the hciuser account which is also in the administrators group I can start the IDE application and do not experience these issues. Additionally there is a command file I use to perform a complete recycle of the engine services based on certain alert triggers. The engine will not execute this .cmd file successfully from the alert condition. If I try to double click the .cmd file it will fail to complete if I am logged in as the domain user with admin rights, throwing a jvm.dll error. If I right-click and choose Run As Administrator, or if I am logged in as hciuser it will run successfully. I have not experienced anything like this using prior versions of CL running on WINNT/WIN7 systems.

Gregory, I have had similar issue…and only started experiencing it with 2010/2012 servers…I found I HAVE to open the cloverleaf GUI and run any bat script as Administrator.  Once I get into the GUI the Shell window works as usual.

One of the things I do know is the Infor service that runs needs to be started with the domain hciuser….that may be something to check?

            Gregory,

I have a vague recollection that I had to add a couple things to our path so that Cloverleaf could find the jvm and some other class files. I have looked for notes and not found anything specific to this. But something rings a bell about jvm.dll and then another error after I added the first folder to the path.

On our Cloverleaf servers, we set a standard path in Advanced Settings/Environment Variables. At least that is how we get to it on our 2008 servers.

The last 2 paths in the PATH variable are:

            L:cloverleafcis6.1integratorclguijavabinserver

            and

            L:cloverleafcis6.1integratorclguijavabin

You might check to see if those are in your path. If not, try adding them.
