Is there any problem to delete all files in HCIROOT/temp directory?

What is the main purpose of this directory?

It has so old BIGGGG files.

          Jae,

I don’t see any problem getting rid of them.  I just looked at mine, and I believe they are temporary files created by cloverleaf when you replay a message from the smat tool.  I think it saves the messages from a file then replay’s them from the file.  Take a look at the contents of one of the messages in a test system just to confirm that it is the same in your system.  I am running V5.3 on AIX 5.1.

No these are the files accumaulated every time when you use the smat.

Take a look at the time stamp on it. Do an ls -ltr

            you’ll see.

You can remove them. No issues.
