Cloverleaf 5.2 on Solaris 5.8

Is there a command to stop the host server? You can start it with

nohup hcihostserver &

I’ve done ps -ef |grep hci and all that comes back is /quovadx/qdx5.2/intea – is this it?

Unless Solaris is different.

To Start:

hciss -s h

To Stop:

hciss -k h

To Find:

ps -ef | grep server

gives: (bunch of stuff)

Also, very important.  You can stop hostserver from anywhere, however, you must be an appropriate user. Generally hci with read and write permissions to the location where you are starting from.

I beleeve with apps like dbadmin if you were to write out to a file with just a filename it will default to whereever you started hostserver.
