The receiving system ignores messages with missing fields and does not send an ACK or NAK and now I have a stuck message that I need to remove.

Is there a way to time the messages out when there is no response from the receiving system and write it to the error DB in Cloverleaf?

      Info.

It is a TCPIP connection, using recovery33

      Thanks in advance

          Harold,

If you are using recovery33 you probably have the timeout set on the Outbound Tab of the Outbound Thread (Await Replies).

You probably also have The Tcl proc ‘resend_ob_msg’ defined in the Reply ‘generation’ Tab. You can place a Tcl proc there to do whatever you want whne timing out waiting for a reply.

          Thanks,

          Jim Kosloskey
