GM Widgets

Would anyone be willing to “share” a Widget that they have created to do something on the CL server?  We are novices when it comes to Java Programming and would prefer to see a working example.  The samples that come with GM are not the best examples from what I have been told from my team.

Is anyone willing to share a working widget? I have a WebApp project in Eclipse that works great. When I copy everything into a GM WebApp project, it has multiple issues like:

– NullPointerExceptions – a called class method to check for a database connection is supposed to either return an existing connection or create a new one and return that, but it returns Null.

– Log4J – I can’t get the import to work, even though I point to the jar that came bundled with GM.

Does GM do something special with the Class Path?
