      Hello,

We have a RHEL Cluster running Cloverleaf 19.1.1 and Global Monitor 20.1.0.0

We can successfully get GM to connect to Node 1 of the cluster and Node 2 of the cluster and get the status of each site, process and thread.

However, when we try to use connect to the VIP, the “host” is able to connect to the VIP and shows a status of “Up”, however, in the “View” everything is showing as “Unknown”.

When creating the View, the GM is able to find all the sites, processes and threads.

Is there some sort of configuration we are missing? Some firewall ports perhaps?

      Thanks,

      Erik

          Hi,

I can’t find the edit button. For the avoidance of doubt, the Global Monitor is not running on a cluster, but is a standalone RHEL server.

You may need to add all of the IP addresses or hostnames that Cloverleaf can appear to be using to the outside to the export server address in hciserveradmin. This could include a VIP, real IPs, etc. They are deleted with a space in this field. Then restart the hostserver (hcisss).

For example, add the VIP, HA1, HA2, etc. IP addresses.

              Hi,

Thanks. I tried that and it saved successfully but then wouldn’t let me in with the IDE GUI or launch the hciserveradmin again.

              It gave the following error:

An unexpected exception occurred during the login process.
The exception shown below was caught.

Unable to establish a connection to an audit server: <local server>; nested exception is:
com.hie.cloverleaf.securityserver.NoAuditServerException: Unable to contact Audit Server on server: <local server>; nested exception is:
              java.rmi.UnknownHostException: Unknown host: 10.24.64.5, 10.24.64.13, 10.24.64.14; nested exception is:
              java.net.UnknownHostException: 10.24.64.5, 10.24.64.13, 10.24.64.14

I manually modified the server.ini file to only have 10.24.64.5, restarted the host server and I was able to launch the IDE GUI and hiserveradmin

So then I tried the export address without commas and got a similar error, but this time without the commas.

I guess I will have to request eNovation to log a ticket with Infor.

              Erik
