Getting Null Ack for X12 transaction

Is there any one who can  help how i can over the issue with Null Ack sent my DS system some time which results is interface being shutdown on the receiving side.

Any Help on this issue is much appreciated and looking forward for reply.

Are you saying you are not receiving any response from the receiving system or you are receiving a response and it is empty?

If you are receiving an empty response that is an issue with the receiving system.

I don’t know of any instance in X12 where it is valid not to return a response to a transaction. At least a TA1 or 997 or something needs to be returned.

If you are not receiving a response at all, then what is your timeout waiting for replies? It may be you need a longer timeout (verify with the receiving system) or you may need to have some resend logic. Again collaborate with the receiving system.

If you identify the receiving system maybe someone here has specifica experiences withthat system.

It would also be helpful to know what X12 Transaction Set(s) this is about.
