General availability of Infor Cloverleaf Integration Services 20.1

This came out on Jan 28th, sorry for the late notice, hopefully many of you already got notifications over email.  Anyhow!

 

We are pleased to announce the general availability of Infor Cloverleaf Integration Services 20.1.0.0. This software update is designed to provide a number of functional, user interface, technical, and security improvements.

 

Summary of enhancements included in this release:

• Database Protocol: Additional flexibility to direct-database interoperability with BLOB/CLOB support and the ability to dynamically execute SQL via a Cloverleaf message.
• Migration Validation Framework: Automated regression testing tool designed to process large volumes of data and compare output from one release to another.
• Cloverleaf Wizard: Translation viewer allows less technical users to see the details of a translation before using it in their interface configurations.

• Git Integration: ‘How-to’ playbook on leveraging Git for source code control of Cloverleaf objects.

Can you confirm the upgrade installation instructions?  I don’t see it in the HVI-CLIS_20010000_LINUX64.tar.gz file.

Do I just stop everything and untar it in $HCIROOT?

@Traci – glad you found it, I should mention all documentation is now provided as a separate download, this includes Release Notes, Install, User Guide, etc.

 

@All – also wanted to mention there are 4 short training courses available at no charge.  You can find these on Infor Campus.  “RT” means “Release Training”, we’ll be providing short courses like this for each release.

If you don’t have an Infor Campus account you’ll need to create one in order to access this material.

There were a lot of asks for more detail on CLAPI so I made sure we got that in.

Rob – How do I get AWS Containers for Infor Cloverleaf releases?  I think you mentioned that they were available on the December update.  We host on our own AWS, not Infor’s. TIA

Hi Traci, What have you found for performance for an EC2 core vs. what you might have had previously/

@Traci – containers are not available at the moment.  We look to leverage them in our own Cloud infrastructure later this year.  There are licensing implications which limit us from making them available to the broader on-premise base at this time.
