      I believe I had placed this post in the wrong forum …tcl library.  My apologies.

      Hello,

      I have setup a ftp over vpn connection thread; however, I am getting the following error:

      [fset:read:ERR /0: fr_nmpsi_orm:05/08/2012 14:59:02] Error while trying to get directory listing.

      Detailed error:couldn’t connect to host

      Curl errCode:7 Curl error:Couldn’t connect to server

      I am able to ping to this ip; but, I cannot retrieve the inbound file.

      Please advise.

          Verify the username and password and verify with the other side what the default directory is when you log in. I have run into this even with internal FTP connections that I thought I was in a directory, say /home/test/files, but I was really in /hom/test/somethingelse.

            I was getting this error too on an FTP thread I setup.  The error went away when I specified the correct remote directory I needed under the “Fileset Options” Inbound->Directory field.
