We are preparing to run Cloverleaf on Windows 2008 R2, and I  am trying to create a thread and set the Outbound directory to an alternate directory outside of the Cloverleaf installation folder and am getting a permission denied error.  Here is the actual error from the logs:

      [fset:wrte:ERR /0:ob_EndoworksHPF:04/07/2014 11:43:55] [0.0.723] Cannot open E:/DataTransfers/EndoHL7/TestResults/ib_EndoResults.000000003.hl7: Permission denied

I have used the file volume (E: was listed), file writable E: (returned 1), and created a dummy output file and successfully wrote to it via the TCL command line.  The local hciuser is an administrator on the box (havent rebooted since I made that change but the errors continued).

I have tried slashes going both directions…and can’t figure it out.

The (apparent) same configuration is working on the server we are migrating from (version 5.6).

This looks like a Windows permissions issue.  You might want to make sure that Cloverleaf has read / write access to that directory.
