FILESET-FTP INBOUND CONFIG

I tried to FTP a flat file report from another server to Cloverleaf Engine through FILESET-FTP Protocol.   How do I configure the FILESET-FTP protocol and read them through the engine?  If anybody have done this successfully before,  please help me step by step in configuring this.

Hi Kannan,

As far as I know, the Fileset-FTP protocol is used for sending messages via FTP from Cloverleaf to another server, not the other way around.

I would have the sending system FTP the messages to a directory on the Cloverleaf server, then have Cloverleaf pick up these files using the Fileset-Local protocol.

I thought we can define the inbound for getting the file from another server and directory parse is for the files to get.

Oops, it must be Friday…

Please ignore what I said about the Fileset-FTP protocol not being able to get files from another server. As James explained, it is absolutely possible and with his instructions you should get this working.

I have never done this myself though; as I said before we always had the sending system FTP the files to the Cloverleaf server and then we processed these via Fileset-Local.
