      Hi all,

      I want to setup an alert which fires if a file is not updated for past 24 hours.

      I have been trying different combinations of “File Change” type alert

          I have set up the file change alert to trigger when

          Comparing!=true and duration N minutes =1400 .. running at 7 AM.

          This alert is on a touch file and I want it to trigger if the file was not tocuhed or updated for past 24 hours.

          Right now the alert is getting trigerred when if the file was updated in the past 24 hours..

          Is there anything wrong with the configuration of the alert?

          Any other ideads regarding how I can monitor if a file has not been updated?

          Thanks..

            Hello Kalpesh!

            Can you add a screen shot of your current configuration?

            Just so I am clear, the logic is

             IF a file has not changed in any 24 hour period you want to throw an alert

              The engine will not check your !=true condition unless the trigger has been met.  And the trigger in this case is that the file has been changed.  I’m not aware of any trigger in the engine  of “file not changed”.  I think you have to write a script outside of the alert system.
