I have a couple of ADT OB threads that receive RAW messages.  There are fewer messages in the OB than in IB.  I’ve reviewed the error and recovery DB’s but can’t find messages for the destination.  Given these are RAW messages, is it possible for them to still generate errors?

Is the route a static route or are you routing by TrxID?  Also, do you happen to have any TCL code that would filter any of the messages?

Static route.  No TCL or translations that I can find.

There’s around 500 failed messages on the IB thread, which is close or the same as the difference between the 2 threads.   How can I view these failed messages?

If by failed you mean errors were thrown, you should be able to locate them in the Error DB.

Looks like these messages are erroring on the inbound thread. Do a

      hcidbdump -e

to see all errors, not only the ones on/towards the outbound thread.
And have a look at the logging of the process you are running; the errors should be mentioned there with a reason why they occur.

There were errors for the IB thread but none to that destination.  This is working now.  Still not sure why it started working correctly or why there’s nothing in the error db for these failed messages.
