Just finished a Site Promotion from 3.8.1 to 5.3 in Support. During testing discovered ADT messages failing due to failure to recognize the raw_hl7_ack. During the conversion we ran hcitpsconvert command and specified a full path to the tclprocs directory in Support. Has anyone experiened problems with this portion of the conversion? Should we try the hcitpsconvert command without specifying a directory in which case the Installation Guide states that “it will convert the procs in the current site in the %HCISITEDIR%%tclprocs directory? Thanks for any help.

Had the same happen with some of our TCL procs.  Go to your site’s tclprocs directory and rerun mktclindex.  Of course, you will want to stop all the processes and engine and restart.  We haven’t had a problem since.

OK, I’ll take the blame here.

I have posted this before but I guess its time to do it again.

When I wrote the hcitpsconvert script, I used mktclindex on each file as I converted it to validate the file.  When the script was completed, I should have run mktclindex against all of the files, but I didn’t.  Therefore when you finish running hcitpsconvert you will see in the tclindex file only the last file that was converted.

The bottom line is when you run hcitpsconvert, run mktclindex after it completes.

Running the mktclindex command worked like a charm. Thanks for the help guys. Quovadex needs to update their Site Promotion instructions.
