exec from tcl locks up on Win2003 / CL 5.3

I am having some very strange problems with tcl scripts locking up when I “exec” a Windows command (or batch file) from my tcl code.  The same code works fine on Win2000 / CL 5.2, but it locks up frequently on Win2003 / CL 5.3.  Is anyone having the same problem, or know of any work-arounds?

Quovadx – Any fix/patch for this?
