Error message help

We’ve migrated an interface from 5.7 to 6.1.2 and have started receiving this warning/err combo in the process log since moving this morning.

Testing tool shows no issue with pre-procs or xlate. Message maps out good.

ACK’s looks to be fine. Interface is setup like dozens of others we have and don’t have this error in our log file.

Have no idea what this is from. Anyone?

[pdl :PDL :WARN/0:MIDAS_OA_PTMGT:02/09/2017 13:39:44] match phrase basic-msg rejected

  That is from the PDL.
  
  I am guessing you are using MLP.
  
  My guess is the sending system is sending an improperly MLP encapsulated message. There should be a hex dump of the message in question in the log. Inspection of that hex dump should allow you to determine if the message is properly encapsulated or if it has erroneous encapsulation characters imbedded.

  Thanks. Found out the receiving system ACK’s have an extra carriage return
  
  1c 0d 0c instead of 1c 0d
