    How to you view a specific message in the error DB in putty?

      For the Command Line check the Command-line Utility hcidbdump in the provided Help documentation.

      hcidbdump -e -m <message ID without leading 0.0.> -L | less

      Also, don’t forget to do a setsite command before issuing the hcidbdump command.

      Yes it is possible in the GUI as well.  Under Tools –> Runtime is a Database Administrator choice.  You can pretty much do anything you want on this screen that the command line can do – do a listing only, show the error (abbreviated – gotta still look at the log for the whole thing), show the message, narrow down by source and/or destination, etc.

      Even better: check out the ‘Error Database’. It will show you (in SMATDB style) the errors. You can then filter/select errors, edit them and resend them to the engine. If it then processes correctly, the error is immediately removed from the error database.
