      I have put an alert on the Error database to notify me when there are more than 20 errors in the database. To be able to test this I have to copy more that 20 messages in the error database to see if the alert is triggered. Is there a way to copy messages to the error database?

          Vaiju,

          For a more accurate test of the alert, you might consider changing a tclproc or xlate to force an error on the message.

            You can try using the testing tool to send 20 messages through a tps that calls the msgerror command.  This should place the messages in the error database.

              Vaiju.

              If you send 20 messages the ‘wrong’ way for a thread, or the messages have a route id that does not exist, they can end up in the error database,
