Hi,

Just setting up email alerts for the first time. This is on version 5.7.

I have a simple alert built to send an email if the are queued messages on a thread. The alert and email works great.

      The issue:

When receiving the email, the Date on the email itself is incorrect.

      For today, I would expect:

      Sent: Wednesday, November 17, 2010 8:45 AM

      What I receive:

      Sent: Sunday, January 17, 2010 8:45 AM

I’m not sure where this issue is coming from – either the email server or in the alert tcl? Any thoughts?

Here is the entire email received:

          Shelbi,

I just posted something similiar here

          <a href="https://usspvlclovertch2.infor.com/viewtopic.php?t=4901″ class=”bbcode_url”>https://usspvlclovertch2.infor.com/viewtopic.php?t=4901

but I don’t think this is your issue as I put back the old version and triggered an e-mail alert and it worked fine.

I am currently on Rev2. Have you installed that yet?

Following the instructions in the link for the new mime file resolved my issue.

I’m glad that helped but it really has me scratching my head. Which also means the problem is more insidious then it looks. I’m just glad there was someone else around looking after it. 😀

Not only can tcl libs cause problems, DST changes can cause time errors on tcl code, as well as unix i.e. primary write on a file is -1:00 hr less than pc time. Solution bounce server, host server.
