Is there any options besides building a sql db to stop repeating results from crossing an interface?

My Lab system sends results like this

      Example Result workflow

      5/1         Rpr

      5/7         Rpr

      cholesterol

      5/28      Rpr

      Cholesterol

      Tsh

      5/31      RPR

      Cholesterol

      Tsh

      Cbc

It stacks them until the results are done.

Do you want them stopped or accumulated?

I am guessing this could be done with Tcl in the IB Tps UPoC.

Probably not – but that begs the question do they send a ‘final’ result and is that indicated in the result? If so, you could KILL any messages not ‘final’ in the IB TPS.

They only come across once final, so I dont think that would help in this situation

But is the final a complete result and does the message have an indicator it is ‘final’.

Because you want to get rid of the interim messages I am assuming the receiving system gets everything it wants from the ‘final’. Or do you need to accumulate everything into one message for them?
