DST for older systems

Hi folks,

This was just taken off of someone elses plate and put on mine.   😯  I hope someone out there has some guidance.

Unfortunately we are STILL on 3.7.1P with an upgrade to the latest and greatest in the works. We are also on Java 1.1.8 and AIX 4.3.3    I know they are unsupported. The system guys have made a change on the UNIX side manually, but is there something that needs to be done on the Java side? With our current 3.7.1P app, can we upgrade the Java? What version is compatable?

We use a ‘reseller’ for support and they thought nothing could be done. They weren’t sure if the times displayed in the messages and logs came from the OS or Java. Just trying to cover my bases and get as much input as possible.
