Default value for a Copy Command????

In the translator, the COPY command has a place for a default value.

I would like to have a default value copied to the outbound value if the inbound value is null.

No matter how I configure it, I can’t get it to work that way. The documentation says it should work.

what version are you on? I remember trying to get this working a while back on 3.8 and earlier and it never would work for me either. I haven’t tried since going to 5.2.1. So I don’t know if its been fixed in a release somewhere.

Its not working in 5.3 Rev2

Its not working in 5.3 Rev3 either. There must be more to it than just selecting from the default drop down. Does anyone have any ideas?
