I got a reply from support that if I get a DB Vista Error -921 for a single process, I have to do a cleanup for the site by bringing the entire site down(which is a pain if the process I am getting this error is in production).
Any other steps available to fix this error if I get this error for one process other that bringing down entire site down, doing cleaning? Any suggestions? Comments most welcome.
I am using Cloverleaf 5.4.1 on windows 2003 server
I’m sure I saw somewhere that this issue has been resolved on Windows on later versions of Cloverleaf due to the use of a newer version of the Raima database.
I could be getting my wires crossed and it could be a different problem that the upgrade resolves but it is worth asking support for clarification.
Sadly, on Windows with the older version of Cloverleaf, there is no fast solution. We were running 5.4.1 on Windows until we upgraded last year and had extensive issues with DB Vista -921 errors. In that environment, the only solution is the hard one.
After upgrading to version 5.7 (and I’m not trying to sound like a commercial here) we have had very few issues with the DB Vista errors, and when they do occur they are easily cleared up with the hcilmclear command, which is now available to Windows.
A version upgrade is not a quick fix, but if it is within your means at all you should consider it.
