Are there any special procedures because of this year’s early daylight savings?

we are on UNIX/AIX 5.2.8

I know , if you are running HPUX OS there is a Patch ( PHCO_34668)  which needs to be applied.

There is also a Java Update I learned which HP has provided a patch

as well.

I am not positive but I think there is an update for Windows servers but I do not know where to find it.

Hello Clovertechers,

We have AIX,  if AIX is providing the update for DST changes.  

If someone could explain,  why would we need an update for JRE that is running on the same AIX?

I am running Cloverleaf on AIX, using Windows as the client. After I install the fix to JRE on the server, do I have to do anything to my Windows workstation? Copy some JRE related files from the server? Apply a fix to my workstation? We just have the base Cloverleaf product – none of the add-ons.

Do we have to apply IBM Updates too ?

I realize that JRE updates within the QDX file system will ahve to be done…but is this all we have to do….even though, of course, we should be attempting to be current on AIX release levels too.  😳

is there a 5.5…if so…can we skip 5.4 and go right to 5.5 ?

Hello Rick B.

We are currently on HPUX OS with Cloverleaf 3.8.1P ( yes , we are planning to upgrade ) and have Java RTE version 1.3 running as well.

Since the TZUpdater from HPUX can only be used for Java version 1.4 and up

would it be possible for us to upgrade from 1.3 to 1.4 with little or no impact . ?
