      Hi,

      Does anybody else experience problems when cycling log files?

      We use W2000 and QDX5.3 with the netmon entry in the client.ini file to stop the GUI’s locking the files. The files are set to cycle at 10Mb and some cycle fine while others go into the 200 cycle attempts loop which then stops any processing on the particular process. If this happens overnight it can be 12 hours before it is noticed. I know I can put alerts on to monitor this but I’m more interested in whether anybody else experiences it.

          We ran into this problem on Windows.  We were unable to resolve it other than reducing the size of the files to cycle.  It seemed to work (slowly) on smaller files.  We bounced off to Linux.  That was our “fix”.
