Cycle Save Issue

      I have run into a couple of threads that are giving me problems when attempting to do a cyclesave.  Here is the message displayed in the command output window:

      Rename “in_choice.msg” –> “in_choice.old.msg” failed: File Exists

      We have the 2003 cycle save scripts running on our NT engine.  Is there a bug in the script?  Has anyone seen this?  Anyone know how to solve this problem?  Thanks for any information.

          It’s not a bug really but windows does not let you rename a file to a filename that already exists.  You need to make sure that the .old file has been moved before running the command. We run a script on unix that after that runs the cycle command and moves the .old file to an archive directory.

            Well, the archiving script that our vendor gave us, is supposed to do just that.  I will take a look at the script.  Thanks for your insight.
