Rob….what was GA of HVI-CLIS_19010100 and are there any reported issues
We would be hopping from 6.1.2 …want to understand impact to methods (configs…), global monitor (6.2)
Hi Bob, GA of 19.1.0.0 was February of this year. We just released the 19.1.1 patch which is available on the download center. I encourage you to review the release notes which describe the new features.
You will need to patch Global Monitor to 6.2.2 in order for it to be able to monitor Cloverleaf 19.1. You can do this independently of a Cloverleaf install, GM 6.2.2 will still work with Cloverleaf 6.1.x.
I also did a webinar describing 19.1, the recording is available here:

Rob,
Will the 20.x version of Cloverleaf be supported on Redhat Enterprise Linux 8.x
Jim
We do plan to support RedHat 8 in 20.1 and in an upcoming patch to 19.1.x.

is it best?
Updated for Cloverleaf 19.1.2. RHEL 8.x is now a certified platform.

Rob, Our client just took on support of a site with Cloverleaf 5.7 with Linux Rel 7. Can you confirm if this is still supported by Infor?
Cloverleaf 5.7 is not supported. That release is ten or twelve years old. I’m not sure what version of Red Hat we certified with. It’s probably fair to say it was not RH 7.x.

We are currently on 6.1.2 with plans to upgrade to latest version in the first quarter of 2021. Is our current version 6.1.2 compatible with RHEL 7 and if so which version of RHEL 7?
Thanks,
Ron
6.1.2 is supported on Red Hat 7.x — detail from the release notes:
Supported Platforms and Configurations
…
RHEL 7.1 Advanced platform (64-bit)
…
Cloverleaf and Red Hat Linux
Cloverleaf is certified against a specific major and minor version of Red Hat Linux.
Red Hat Linux claims binary compatibility across minor releases providing the application adheres to standard Application Binary Interfaces (ABIs). Cloverleaf adheres to this standard.
Additional detail on the Red Hat policy can be found at:
https://access.redhat.com/solutions/5154
Cloverleaf will work with a non-certified minor release of Red Hat Linux provided that Red Hat maintains the binary compatibility policy.
If compatibility issues in a Red Hat minor release arise due to deviations of the binary compatibility policy, Infor will make reasonable efforts to provide a hot fix to support that minor release.

Rob,
What happened to patch 19.1.3.0
We have the release notes but the software is not available on the download site did they pull it back.
Jim
Well I am trying to figure out how best to do this upgrade from 6.2.2 to 20.1. We use Redhat and I see that RH 7.8 and 8.2 are certified for 20.1. My question is, can I upgrade the RH to 8.2 and have the engine 6.2.2 run on that until I get it upgraded. That is the $1,000,000 question.
Oh what fun we are going to have.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I am seeking customers that have upgraded to Cloverleaf 20.1 on AIX platform.
I am asking for feedback on your experience with performance, any issues etc.. on the 20.1 version.
Thank you for your response
Rob – is Red Hat 8.x now supported for Cloverleaf 20.1 ? ReleaseNotes says 7.x as the supported OS version.
Anyone have any idea when version 21 will come out?
Is Cloverleaf 2022.09.02, the latest release? I saw a reference to 2023.06 being related to 20.1. I am going to upgrade, would like to be as current as possible.
I see that Cloverleaf 2022.09.03 is in the download center, but I can’t find the release notes anywhere. Can someone tell me where to find it? Thanks.
I saw in the documentation for 22.09.02 the following information: “Beginning with the September release, information about enhancements and new features is now located in the Release Report. To view the Release Report, see the Infor Cloverleaf Integration Services release KB in Infor Concierge.”
How do you navigate to that report in Concierge?
I find Concierge difficult to deal with. It took me a lot of searching to even find the links to the download center.
Can you share the link to get the downloads? I found the release notes I think, just not the actual software.
I can’t copy the link. I think it must be using some kind of javascript to open the new page rather than a simple URL. You can get to the downloads from the Concierge page/Products and Subscriptions. That page has a list of product lines, but at the very top there’s a link that says “Visit Infor Product Download Center.”
The release notes for on-premises hosted Cloverleaf are not in the “Release Center” where I was expecting them. They appear to just be KB articles in the new Customer Portal. I had to go to Concierge, click on “Access Infor Customer Portal”, search for “Cloverleaf release reports”. The article that I found was titled “Cloverleaf – Product Release Information.” There was a link to a spreadsheet of all the changes in the 2022.09.03 release that I was looking for.
Pretty frustrating the hoops you have to now jump through just to get release notes and changes for new versions. It use to be released with the new versions in the download center now it’s placed in some excel spreadsheet with a bunch of other stuff that you have to search for the version CIS version number for any hits as a KB I think. No clue why Infor would think this is a better way of handling this for their customers. If anyone has issues finding this information I would suggest opening a ticket with Infor support.
I looked at the release notes for the latest versions, but I cannot find anything to tell me if 2022.09.x will run on a Redhat 9 server. This OS has been out for two years and my IT Engineers want me to use this version if possible during my upgrade this year.
Has anyone tested this version with Redhat 9? Are there plans to officially certify it?
We just recently upgraded our test environment to RedHat 9 and also to CIS 2022.09.03 cloverleaf version. We have 8 test sites with a separate master site.
We are in the initial stages of testing and have not set a date when we want to upgrade our prod cloverleaf server to RedHat 9 and CIS 2022.09.03.
